Namco Bandai has released two Ace Combat Infinity gameplay videos.
The movies show off Stonehenge and Great Migration missions from the game, which is due to launch later this year as a free-to-play digital-only title exclusive to PS3.
Set in a "near future world", Namco says the game will retain "elements that are important to fans from previous Ace Combat titles, including super weapons and hyper-real visuals".
It'll include a story campaign for solo play and an online multiplayer mode which sees players form two teams of four and "compete to inflict the most damage on a common enemy".
Project leader Kazutoki Kono has told Kotaku that the multiplayer mode will require players to use "fuel" to deploy aircraft into battle. Fuel depletes on use and replenishes over time, but can also be purchased. Other unspecified items will also be available to purchase.
