New footage showcases how the game runs on current-gen hardware

Battlefield 4 media has focused largely on the next-gen and PC versions so far, but with the launch of the open beta on Friday, DICE has decided to share some footage of the current-gen version in action.

More specifically, the new gameplay footage below is of the Xbox 360 version, showing the now familiar Siege of Shanghai map.

The Battlefield 4 beta is now open on PS3, PC and Xbox 360. To test the multiplayer game for free, a 1.5GB download is required.

The beta sets players loose on the Siege of Shanghai map in Conquest and Domination modes.

EA has confirmed a Battlefield 4 release date of October 29 in the US and November 1 in the UK on current gen consoles and PC. Xbox One and PS4 versions will be console launch titles later in November.
