Watch Dogs and South Park confirmed for New York Comic Con

Ubisoft showcasing new games at next week's show

Ubisoft has confirmed plans to bring South Park: The Stick of Truth and Watch Dogs to the New York Comic Con next week.

Players will get a chance to see Watch Dog's companion app in action, which lets users hack into other players' virtual cities and wreak havoc.

Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag, Just Dance 2014, and The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot will also make an appearance as part of the Ubisoft-sponsored 'Next Level' competition, in which attendees can compete for special prizes.

The New York Comic Con, which runs from October 10-13 at the Javits Center in Midtown Manhattan, will also play host to Nintendo games and events.

The platform holder has confirmed that Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma will host a 'speaking session' at the show, and attendees will be able to go hands-on with over dozen new and upcoming Wii U and 3DS games including Super Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Sonic Lost World.
