GTA 5 is PS3's biggest ever digital release

Grand Theft Auto 5 has beaten The Last of Us' record to become the biggest ever digital release on PS3.

Sony said so in a post on the European PlayStation Blog, where it also revealed September's most popular digital games in Europe and North America.

Killzone Mercenary was the best-selling Vita game in both territories last month. Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse was the top PSN game in both regions, while Grand Theft Auto San Andreas topped sales of classic PSone and PS2 games.
