Ubisoft has reportedly ruled out the release of any DLC for the Wii U version of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.
Kotaku reports having received confirmation from the publisher that the Nintendo version of the game will miss out on the DLC expansions that are planned for the other console versions.
On Tuesday Ubisoft announced a range of Assassin's Creed 4 DLC plans which will be available as part of a season pass set for release at launch.
Available for Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4 and PC, the season pass will feature extra single player missions, new multiplayer characters, the exclusive Kraken Ship Pack and additional personalisation options.
While the season pass has yet to be priced, Ubisoft says it will deliver the DLC - listed in this report - at a 20 per cent discount off the regular cost of each individual pack, all of which are due to be released before March 2014.
Ubisoft has confirmed the Assassin's Creed 4 release date for all platforms. In the UK, the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will ship on November 1, while the Wii U, PC, Xbox One and PS3 versions will launch on November 22.
In the US the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U versions of the game are set to launch on October 29, with the PS4 version on November 15, the PC version on November 19.
