EU PlayStation Plus: Metal Gear Rising free in November

Along with Remember Me, Oddworld Stranger's Wrath and MotorStorm RC

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced November's batch of PlayStation Plus content.

Subscribers will be able to download Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Remember Me on PS3 for free from October 23. On the same day, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath and MotorStorm RC will be made free to download on Vita.

Leaving PS Plus:

  • Far Cry 3
  • Mafia 2
  • Spec Ops The Line (NBA 2K13 in UAE)
  • Street Fighter X Tekken
  • Touch My Katamari

Entering PS Plus:

  • Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
  • Remember Me
  • Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
  • MotorStorm RC

Sony will use the PS4 launch this November to make a number of significant changes to its PlayStation Plus subscription service.

PS4 owners will be required to subscribe to PS Plus in order to play online multiplayer, which isn't the case on PS3 or Vita.

The thinking behind the decision to charge customers for online multiplayer on PS4 was explained to us by Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida in June.
