Deus Ex: Human Revolution owners can upgrade to Director's Cut for small fee

PC owners not required to purchase full game for extra content

Owners of the original Deus Ex: Human Revolution on PC can upgrade to the forthcoming Director's Cut edition for a small fee, Square Enix has announced.

This means those who have previously purchased the game on Steam will only pay a fraction of the retail price in order to access the new content.


The pricing structure:

New purchase (if you don't already have the game): £12.99/€19.99/$19.99
Own the basic game (with no DLC): £6.99/€7.99/$9.99
Own the game and Missing Link DLC: £3.49/€3.99/$4.99

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut will release October 22 in North America and October 25 in Europe and Australia.

Originally a Wii U exclusive, the Director's Cut has also been confirmed for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. it features changes to the original's maligned boss battles as well as refined balancing, improved AI and visual improvements.

CVG described the original edition as "a great shooter, a great stealth game, a great RPG, and a great world in which to spend 30 hours of your life".
