Randomised DLC maps coming to Civilization V

Scrambled Continents available now, Scrambled Nations due in November

Two new map packs have been revealed for Civilization V, the first of which is available for purchase immediately.

The two packs contain maps shaped like real-world countries and continents, with interiors that are randomly generated each time a new game is started.

The first pack, Scrambled Continents, is available for purchase now on the Steam store, priced at £3.99 / €4.49 / $4.99.

According to the description on the Steam store, Scrambled Continents contains maps for Africa, Eastern Asia, North and South America, Western Europe, the Middle East, a thawed Antarctica, new scripted maps for Small Continents and Oceania, and one large map including all of Earth's continents.

A second pack, entitled Scrambled Nations, will feature maps for Canada, Australia, Japan, Scandinavia, Great Britain, and China. Again, the contents of each map will be randomised with each play.

Scrambled Nations will be available for download on November 5, also priced £3.99 / €4.49 / $4.99.
