Metro: Last Light Chronicles Pack out now

New missions and weapon released for shooter

The fourth and final downloadable content update for Metro: Last Light is now available on Steam.

The Chronicles Pack features three original solo missions that run parallel to the story of Metro: Last Light. The DLC gives players the opportunity to experience Polis Sniper Anna's failed attempt to rescue Artyon, as well as Pavel's escape from the Bandit Lair beneath Venice, along with guiding Khan and Ulman through Polyanka's tunnels.

"We hope fans of Metro: Last Light have enjoyed the additional content," said Andrew Prokhorov, creative director at 4A Games.

"It has allowed us to experiment with some new gameplay ideas such as the 'Ranger' mission from the Faction Pack and the Tower Pack, and we have paid close attention to all the feedback. But we think the Chronicles Pack will be the fans' favourite as it contains three unique story-based missions featuring some of the game's best-loved characters."

The Chronicles Pack also features a new weapon in the form of the Multi Barreled Bicycle Shotgun, which was designed by fans

The pack is priced at $4.99 / £3.99 / €4.99 and is also available as part of the Metro: Last Light Season Pass, which costs $14.99 / £11.99 / €14.99 and entitles holders to the Faction, Tower, Developer and Chronicles Packs at a discounted price. The pass also includes the exclusive Abzats weapon.

The DLC is also available now on the North American PlayStation Store, and is likely to be included in the corresponding European PlayStation Store content update.

In our Metro: Last Light review we said the game is "a refreshing change from more traditional first-person shooters."
