Bonus content pledged for the PS3 and PS4 versions of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and Watch Dogs will only be PlayStation-exclusive for six months.
CVG posted a new PS4 showreel video earlier today which boasts of the exclusive content bound for the platform. But an alternative US version of the same video packs one additional detail; both of Ubisoft's exclusivity deals are timed, not permanent.
As the video reveals in small print, the "60 minutes of exclusive gameplay" promised to PlayStation gamers for AC4 and Watch Dogs is a "6 month exclusive".
This means that, like the majority of third-party of exclusives, the content will later be released on other platforms allowing Xbox and PC gamers to eventually participate.
Ubisoft has confirmed that the PlayStation exclusive content for Assassin's Creed 4 will star Aveline, the heroine of Vita game Assassin's Creed Liberation. The content will be made up of three missions, offering a total of 60 minutes of gameplay.
The bonus Watch Dogs content is also promised to provide an addition hour of gameplay.
