Upcoming RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be distributed in Europe by Namco Bandai, the publisher has confirmed.
Namco said today that it will be responsible for the game's distribution and promotion throughout Europe, across all formats - PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
"We've worked with Namco Bandai before, so our partners there know both The Witcher and the ideals that drive us as a studio," said Adam Badowski, studio head at the game's developer, CD Projekt RED.
"We're convinced that they understand our vision for the game and that they will do a great job at letting gamers know how the game's open world and great story are going to change the next-gen RPG landscape."
Announced in February and built using the studio's new RedEngine 3 technology, The Witcher 3 will boast an open world thirty times larger than that featured in its predecessor.
A trailer was released in August to portray "the cruel and gritty world of The Witcher and foreshadow the mature mood of the upcoming story-driven RPG".
Last week, the game won the Golden Joystick award for Most Wanted, earning more votes than the likes of PS4 and Xbox One.
Earlier in October, it was announced that a Witcher comic book series will be published by Dark Horse Comics.
