Rockstar Games has launched a contest asking GTA 5 players to send in photobombs captured using the in-game Snapmatic camera for a chance to win prizes.
"For all you compulsive shutterbugs out there, entrance into our very first Snapmatic photo contest will run from right now through till end of day Monday, November 4th. With this inaugural contest theme of #EpicPhotobomb - we want to see the best photobombs you can come up with," the studio says on the Rockstar Games website.
"Whether it be a unexpectedly volatile pedestrian coming to clobber you, a scantily clad Trevor running amok in the middle of your self-satisfied selfie or a rival player causing an explosive disturbance while you calmly attempt to snap your sweet Los Santos Custom-ized hot rod - we'll pick out five of our favorite awesomely amusing and artfully composed iFruit camera pics that fit the bill and will share the winning shots here at the Newswire."
The five best photos will receive a prize package featuring an iFruit phone case and phone decals, a GTA5 t-shirt and a Chop stuffed animal.
To enter, GTA 5 players need only add the #EpicPhotobomb tag to their shots through the Rockstar Games SocialClub.
Rockstar has sold into retailers nearly 29 million GTA 5 copies since the game's PS3 and Xbox 360 release on September 17, topping the lifetime console sales of GTA 4 in just under six weeks.
GTA 5 also became "the biggest release ever" on the PlayStation Store, where it launched on day-one in digital form, and also holds records as the highest grossing day-one and week-one release on Xbox Live, according to Rockstar.
The first DLC for Grand Theft Auto Online, the 'Beach Bum Pack', will be downloadable for free in November, Rockstar confirmed last week.
