Microsoft has announced plans to release four Ryse DLC packs, which will be available at a discounted rate as part of a season pass.
The add-on packs will contain a total of 14 multiplayer maps, a new game mode, six player skins, fresh level events, and access to a new tier of weapons and armour.
Users can purchase all four packs as part of a $19.99 season pass, which offers more than a 25 per cent discount versus buying each add-on individually. An in-game sword and shield with bonus attributes for use in multiplayer will be offered exclusively to the season pass buyers.
Dubbed Gladiator, Ryse's co-operative multiplayer mode sees players teaming up in the Coliseum to take on hordes of enemies.
It features dynamic tile sets inspired by the movable floor pieces in the ancient Coliseum which were used to recreate historic battles. These movable tiles are used to make hidden scenery rise from the floor, allowing for battles in settings such as strongholds, ruins and naval arenas to take place.
Ryse will feature 11 multiplayer maps at launch, as well as an additional bonus map for anyone who buys the Day One Edition of the game.
