The US arm of Amazon has launched its own dedicated PlayStation Network Store.
The store gives PS3, PS4 and PS Vita owners an alternative place to purchase digital PlayStation games and download content (DLC), and offers "over 100" bits of content at launch.
Amazon is marking the launch with the offer of $5 promotional credit with the purchase of a select list of PS3 titles including The Last of Us, Batman Arkham Origins, Madden NFL 25 and others.
Sony appears keen to make digital PlayStation content was accessible as possible as the PS4 launch looms. The firm recently added support for PayPal to the US PlayStation Store on PS3.
The update allows US PS3 owners to add funds to the PSN Wallets via PayPal directly on the console - finally cutting out the need to log into the SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) on PC for PayPal use.
