New Euro release date for Lego Marvel Super Heroes Xbox One

Next-gen version delayed by one week on Microsoft's console

Warner Bros. has confirmed a new European release date for the Xbox One version of Lego Marvel Super Heroes.

Originally planned as an Xbox One launch day release on November 22, the game will now hit stores one week later.

"The game ships for Xbox One on November 22 in North America and is scheduled to be on store shelves in European territories beginning November 29," publisher Warner said in a statement issued to IGN.

The title launched today on current-gen systems, Wii U, and on PS4 in the US (it hits Sony's new console in Europe on November 29).

Lego Marvel Super Heroes promises to "bring the characters, vehicles and action of Marvel's renowned universe to the world of Lego build-and-play adventure".

In a CVG Lego Marvel Super Heroes preview of the Xbox 360 version, we said that at times it was surprising to see that the game was not running on next-gen hardware.
