Square Enix teases Tomb Raider Definitive Edition reveal

"It's so hard to keep a secret these days," says publisher

Square Enix has issued a statement addressing rumours that it plans to release a definitive edition of its latest Tomb Raider game on PS4.

The publisher told DualShockers that it doesn't have anything to reveal yet, but teased an announcement in December.

"It's so hard to keep a secret these days! We appreciate all of the enthusiasm, however we don't have any details to share just yet. That said, we highly recommend you keep an eye on any major gaming events happening in early December."

It has been confirmed that Spike TV's VGX event - formerly the Spike TV VGAs - will take place on December 7.

Tomb Raider Definitive Edition was first listed by Amazon Italy, which says it will include the original game bundled with all the DLC and a limited edition art book. The site also listed the same game for another unknown platform, suggesting a potential Xbox One or PC release.

In our Tomb Raider review we described the game as "violent, scary, ambitious and inventive" and a "blockbuster return to form" for the series.
