Square Enix has officially revealed Bravely Second, a sequel to 3DS Japanese role-playing game Bravely Default: Flying Fairy.
The game is featured in the latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu (via Siliconera). Although very few details on the title have been released, the magazine does state that one of the characters in the game is called Magnolia.
Bravely Default was released in Japan on October 11. While developing the sequel, developer Silicon Studio implemented some of the ideas created for the follow-up into a new version of the game called Bravely Default: For the Sequel. This improved version of the original title is scheduled for release in Japan, Europe and Australia this week.
Developed by Silicon Studio, the team behind 3D Dot Game Heroes, Bravely Default utilises the familiar turn-based battle system seen in Square Enix's Final Fantasy titles, while making use of the augmented reality features built into 3DS.
