EU PlayStation Plus: Don't Starve, DmC, Borderlands 2 free in December

Along with Soul Sacrifice and Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced December's batch of PlayStation Plus content.

Subscribers will be able to download DmC Devil May Cry and Borderlands 2 on PS3 for free from December 24. On the same day, Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend and Soul Sacrifice will be made free to download on Vita. And from January 8, Don't Starve on PS4 will be free to download.


Leaving PS Plus:

  • 24th December: Grid 2
  • 24th December: Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen
  • 24th December: Sonic and Allstars Racing Transformed
  • 8th January: Contrast

Entering PS Plus:

  • 24th December: DmC Devil May Cry (PS3)
  • 24th December: Borderlands 2 (PS3)
  • 24th December: Soul Sacrifice (Vita)
  • 24th December: Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend (Vita)
  • 8th January: Don't Starve (PS4)

Sony used the PS4 launch in November to make a number of significant changes to its PlayStation Plus subscription service.

PS4 owners are required to subscribe to PS Plus in order to play online multiplayer, which isn't the case on PS3 or Vita.

The thinking behind the decision to charge customers for online multiplayer on PS4 was explained to us by Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida in June.
