Eidos Montreal has released part two of its 'Stories from The City' video series focused on the world of its new Thief reboot.
This one stars the Queen of the Beggars, who offers a narrative on the state of the City and the doom that befalls it.
According to the official blurb, "Nobody knows how old the Queen of the Beggars actually is; rumour has it she's as old as The City itself. Some say that although she is blind, she sees through the eyes of rats that riddle the streets."
This follows a VGX Thief trailer trailer that was released earlier this month.
The cross-generation project is principally being developed in-house by Eidos Montreal, the studio behind Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
In early April, we said in our Thief preview: "Garrett might well be most comfortable in the shadows, but in the run-up to next-gen Thief will have to deal with the spotlight. And on this first unveiling, at least, the stealth adventure isn't cracking under pressure."
Square Enix has confirmed a Thief release date of February 25 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in North America. The game wil arive three days later in the UK.
