Blizzard's second 'Test Season' for free-to-play card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft has been delayed until further notice.
The delay of the next closed beta phase is due to the discovery of several issues during its most recent maintenance session, a community manager explained via a Battle.net post.
"When the servers come back up from maintenance today, player ranks will not have changed, and Test Season 1 will continue until further notice," the post reads.
Hearthstone was due to enter open beta in December, but the milestone was pushed into 2014 at the last minute.
At the time, Hearthstone production director Jason Chayes said Blizzard believed that not rushing the game to open beta was "the right thing to do".
"The development team has been working hard to get this out before the end of , but our highest priority is that Hearthstone has an awesome launch when all gates are lifted and everyone can download it and play at the same time," he said.
At BlizzCon in November, Blizzard revealed that Hearthstone is in development for iPhone and Android, in addition to PC and tablet devices.
