Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD video shows Vita gameplay

A gameplay video for the Vita version of Square Enix's Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD has been published online, showing how the remastered version of the PS2 classic performs on the handheld.

The video, which comes by way of a YouTube Let's Play, encompasses the first two hours of the game, showing the siege of Zanarkand during the Blitzball match, Tidus' meeting with Rikku and more.

Square Enix has confirmed a European Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD release date of March 21 on Vita, the same day the remastered titles are due to hit PS3.

Both games will be available on a single disc for PS3, while the Vita versions will be sold individually. In addition to sharper visuals, they'll support cross-save functionality.

The Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD limited edition will feature an exclusive book showcasing concept art from the games, plus commentary from the original development teams and "a special message" from producer Yoshinori Kitase.
