LucasArts closed down in April, six months after ownership changed hands when Disney acquired LucasFilm for $4 billion. It is believed that more than one hundred staff were affected by the closure.

Robilliard joined PlayStation America in July, with Sony appointing him as a design director at an undisclosed studio. Sony manages several development teams across North America, including Naughty Dog and Santa Monica Studios.

According to Robilliard's online CV, which was brought to light by IGN, the design director previously worked with Sony Europe on The Getaway series.

Publisher Electronic Arts is now working with LucasFilm on creating a number of Star Wars games. It is not clear if the company will pick up on the Star Wars 1313 project, which was suspended in March.
