Rhythm Thief back on iOS App Store

Pulled game has had technical issues fixed

The iOS version of Rhythm Thief & The Emperor's Treasure is now back on the App Store.

The game was released last week but was temporarily pulled after Sega discovered an unexpected problem with it.

Priced at £6.99 / $9.99 and titled Rhythm Thief & The Paris Caper, the app is an optimised version of the 3DS game which launched in April 2012.

Rhythm Thief follows Raphael, a young boy living in Paris who, along with his dog Fondue, is trying to investigate his father's disappearance.

According to Sega, the game has also "been optimised for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch with over 20 original songs, 50 new missions and new mini-games that will test players' wits and timing."

New side-stories have been added, along with limited-time special missions, daily challenges and over 100 accomplices to collect as players form a dance troupe.

In CVG's 3DS Rhythm Thief review, we said: "The hallmark of a good rhythm game is one that you can play by ear, and Rhythm Thief gets this."
