Hideo Kojima has tweeted photos showing how Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will work with a tablet or smartphone.
In his first tweet, Kojima explained that he was testing out various different tablets with the Xbox One version of the game to ensure they were all compatible.
Snake's terminal, named i-Droid, appears on the second screen as you play the game, Kojima says.
The second tweet shows that you can also choose to display the game's map on the second screen.
Finally, Kojima also tweeted a photo of the second screen display running on a smartphone, to show the feature wasn't limited to tablets.
The tweets are the latest in a series of teases from Kojima's Twitter account. Yesterday he posted posted photos of the game running on a Vita using the PS4's Remote Play functionality.
A prologue to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Ground Zeroes will act as a bridge between the linearity of existing series entries and the open-world environments of the upcoming fifth instalment.
Kojima has said MGSV will be darker in tone than previous entries in the franchise, exploring "some very heavy subjects such as race and revenge". The Entertainment Software Rating Board has recently classified Ground Zeroes as Mature.
Publisher Konami has confirmed a Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes release date of March 18.
