A documentary on Gran Turismo and its creator Kazunori Yamauchi, titled 'KAZ: Pushing The Virtual Divide', will debut in US on January 22.
The show, originally announced in September last year, will make its debut via the US video streaming service Hulu, offering an insight into the development of PlayStation's flagship racing sim.
According to SCEA, "KAZ transports the viewer through a cinematic journey of dedication and creativity through the lens of Kazunori Yamauchi, the architect behind Gran Turismo's birth and 15 year evolution. The film reveals historical footage and never been told stories shared by some of the most influential people in the automotive and gaming industries."
The documentary was filmed over a one-year period over 12 locations across the globe. A new trailer is above.
In addition, Sony will host a round table discussion with Kazunori Yamauchi and the documentary's director Tamir Moscovici, alongside 2013 GT Academy winner Nick McMillen, via Twitch on January 22 (no time specified).
Givaways, including 1 million in-game credits for Gran Turismo 6, are promised.
