Video: Chat show host Jimmy Fallon makes light of Nintendo's situation

You know things probably aren't going so well when late-night chat show hosts in America start making fun of you.

That's the pickle Nintendo found itself in after Jimmy Fallon (he of the imaginatively titled Late Night With Jimmy Fallon) addressed its current financial situation.

In fairness, Fallon is a massive gamer and regularly holds 'game weeks' on his show in which he invites representatives from Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo to come and show off their latest games.

In past shows he's had the likes of Watch Dogs, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, Call Of Duty: Ghosts and Donkey Kong Country Returns on his show.

As a gamer, then, he's obviously picked up on the recent news that Nintendo is set to post a net loss of 25 billion yen (£147m) for the financial year.

With that in mind, Jimmy decided to cover the news in his own inimitable style during his opening monologue.
