Elder Scrolls Online Imperial Edition confirmed with new trailer

$99/89 special edition grants five-day early access

Bethesda has released a new trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online, and confirmed a special 'Imperial Edition' of the game.

The Elder Scrolls Online Imperial Edition is a "premium collector's edition" which will be available digitally and, in limited quantities, physically.

The $79.99 USD / £69.99 Digital Imperial Edition is available now to pre-order through participating retailers and to pre-purchase from the official online store. The package includes access to the game five days before the game's official launch, 30-days of game time, the ability to play as an Imperial and gain unique bonuses, crafting styles and gear.

Additionally, players will be able to summon an exclusive Imperial mount and journey through Tamriel with increased speed, craft Imperial style gear, transform owned gear into Imperial styled gear, gain additional experience when completing the Ritual of Mara with a friend, and explore Tamriel with an exclusive Mudcrab vanity pet.

The £89.99 / $99.99 USD/EU Elder Scrolls Online physical Imperial Edition includes a 12" Molag Bal Statue, a 224-page illustrated guide annotated by the Imperial scholar, Flaccus Terentius, a 21" x 26" printed map detailing Alliance-controlled zones and the ultimate conquest: Cyrodiil, a limited edition steel case decorated in the color of the Imperials, as well as the Imperial character, horse, pet and experience boost included in the digital version.

Those that order the Standard Edition in physical or digital formats will also receive The Explorer's Pack bonus at launch, which includes the Scuttler vanity pet, four bonus treasure maps, and the ability to play as any of the nine races in any Alliance. Early Access bonuses will also be offered to those pre-ordering or pre-purchasing a PC/Mac version.

The Elder Scrolls Online will be available worldwide on April 4 for PC and Mac users. A PS4 and Xbox One version is scheduled for June 2014.
