A sequel to Disney Infinity may be in the works, according to the Wall Street Journal and a recently released job listing.
A post on the Disney Careers website is advertising for game testers to work at Avalanche Software for 4-5 months.
Avalanche was the studio in charge of the original Disney Infinity, and with no further toys or DLC playsets likely to be released for the first game the listing would appear to relate to a second game.
Furthermore, as applicants are expected to have "familiarity with Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Wii U", this too would imply the game being tested is a new title rather than an update to the existing Disney Infinity.
The Wall Street Journal recently claimed that a new version of Disney Infinity featuring Marvel and Star Wars characters may be in development.
In CVG's Disney Infinity review we said: "Add-on costs aside, Disney Infinity is a treat.
"It is blanketed with ideas and Disney references that will keep older and younger gamers busy for far longer than the more linear Skylanders could, and while the Toy Box mode isn't exactly going to have Minecraft shaking in its cuboid boots, its sillier nature (does Minecraft have a toilet paper gun?) makes it just as entertaining at times."
