Square Enix releases new trailer to demo "increased visual fidelity"

Square Enix has confirmed that Murdered: Soul Suspect will be released for PS4 and other announced platforms in June 2014.

The 'supernatural detective thriller' was announced for Xbox One on Monday. It will also release for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

In Murdered: Soul Suspect the main protagonist is murdered by an unknown perpetrator, and players must work to investigate their own murder from the afterlife.

The next-gen versions of the game will offer "increased visual fidelity" via native 1080p output, Square Enix said.

"Elements such as subsurface scattering and an increased particle count will depict an even more immersive ghost world," it claimed.
