Microsoft 'hard at work' trying to fix Wolf Among Us season pass problem

Players being made to pay for Episode 2 despite pre-buying entire series

The Xbox 360 version of Telltale Games' Fables: The Wolf Among Us is currently experiencing difficulties with its season pass system.

Players who purchased the pass are finding that, when it comes to downloading the recently-released Episode 2, there is no option to download it for free: only one to buy it for the normal price of £3.99 / $4.99.

A Telltale representative said in a forum post on Wednesday that Microsoft was "actively working to resolve the issue".

Microsoft's Xbox Live status update page also posted the following message:

"Xbox 360 Affected services: Buying downloadable items 2/6/2014 12:37:31 AM CST: Xbox members, do you own a "The Wolf Among Us" Season Pass but are being asked to pay for episode 2 "Smoke & Mirrors?" Our team is engaged and hard at work trying to get this fixed. Thanks for your patience while we work. We'll update you on our progress in 60 minutes."

This message was updated on Thursday, stating that a fix will be ready on Friday.

The Wolf Among Us takes place prior to Bill Willingham's award-winning series and casts players as Bigby Wolf (Big Bad Wolf), who has been exiled to New York from the land of the fable homelands.

The first episode was released for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in October 2013 to widespread critical acclaim. The iOS version followed in December.
