Forza Motorsport 5 gets Road America tracks and cars DLC

Best-selling entry in racing series yet

Two new DLC packs will arrive for Forza Motorsport 5 Tuesday.

Developer Turn10 revealed that Road America will arrive as the first add-on track for the game. The free DLC will automatically add the famed Wisconsin course to Career events, Rivals Mode, and multiplayer lobbies.

Forza Motorsport 5 Car Pass Owners will also receive five new cars in their garages as part of the Road America Booster Pack, including a 1968 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 and 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1.

The DLC expands the best-selling game in the racing series yet, Microsoft noted in the same announcement.

More than one-third of all Xbox One owners have purchased the launch window game, Microsoft says. 3.9 million Xbox One systems shipped in 2013, though Microsoft hasn't revealed sell-through figures. About 2.7 games have been sold for every Xbox One console.

We applauded its production quality in our Forza Motorsport 5 review, but found its "chases aren't as thrilling as those of Forza 4, let alone GRID or F1 2013."
