The new graphics, sound, and expanded story content of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster are on display in the latest trailer from Square Enix.
The trailer published Wednesday explores the new features players can expect to see, beginning with a direct comparison between an overworld battle from Final Fantasy X and its upgraded version.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster also includes a 30-minute audio drama written by Kazushige Nojima, the original lead writer on both games. Titled "-Will-", it takes place after the events of Final Fantasy X-2 and hints at where the characters' lives have taken them since them.
The PS3 version comes with both games on-disc whereas the PS Vita version includes FFX on the game card and a download voucher for FFX-2 HD. Both versions are sold separately but are cross-save compatible.
The Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster limited edition will feature an exclusive book showcasing concept art from the games, plus commentary from the original development teams and "a special message" from producer Yoshinori Kitase.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will release on March 18 in North America and on March 21 in Europe.
