A new Dark Souls 2 trailer has been released as publisher Namco Bandai ramps up for the game's March launch.
The short clip offers a cinematic look at the protagonist taking on a giant dragon and other predictably formidable challenges.
The Dark Souls 2 release date is March 11 in North America and March 14 in Europe for PS3 and Xbox 360. A PC edition of the game will follow "shortly" after.
As previously announced, the pre-order-only Black Armour Edition will be available upon launch, boasting a metal case housing the game disc and official soundtrack.
A Dark Souls 2 Collector's Edition will also be made available, which bundles the Black Armor Edition content when pre-ordered, along with a 12-inch Warrior Knight statue, art-book, map and the official Dark Souls 2 soundtrack.
Gamers who pre-order the Dark Souls 2's Black Armour Edition or Collector's Edition will receive early access to the Black Armor Weapons packs, gaining access to a total of five weapon packs available at the beginning of the game.
