Ubisoft's Watch Dogs will release on May 27 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC, the publisher has confirmed.
Ubisoft confirmed in a statement that the Wii U version of Watch Dogs "will release at a later date".
The release date was revealed ahead of schedule via a trailer which leaked on Xbox.com. You can now watch the official version below.
The highly anticipated open-world game was most recently scheduled for release in spring 2014, after being delayed out of the November 2013 launch window for Xbox One and PS4.
At the time of the game's initial delay, Ubisoft said it had decided "to take the extra time to polish" the title and ensure it could deliver "a truly memorable and exceptional experience."
"Our ambition from the start with Watch Dogs has been to deliver something that embodies what we wanted to see in the next-generation of gaming," the statement added. "From the beginning, we have adopted the attitude that we will not compromise on quality."
Ubisoft EMEA senior VP of sales and marketing Geoffroy Sardin said today: "We are extremely confident that the additional time we afforded the dev team to refine and polish the game will be more than worth the wait."
