Watch Dog PS4, PS3 hardware bundles coming to Europe

PlayStation versions of the game also feature 60 minutes of exclusive gameplay

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced plans to release two Watch Dogs PlayStation hardware bundles

The PS3 and PS4 hardware bundles will launch on the newly confirmed Watch Dogs release date of May 27.

The PlayStation versions of the title will also feature one hour of exclusive gameplay accessible via PSN post-launch.

"We're really excited for the launch of Watch Dogs on both PS3 and PS4 and are confident that it will prove to be one of the standout games of 2014," said Michael Pattison, vice president of third party relations at SCEE. "It's a unique and visionary game and we believe that the exclusive content available via PSN will not only excite gamers, but showcase how PlayStation is a preferred destination for Watch Dogs."

The Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC versions of Watch Dogs will also arrive on May 27, while the Wii U version "will release at a later date".

The highly anticipated open-world game was originally scheduled for release in November, but it was delayed due to quality concerns.

Ubisoft EMEA senior VP of sales and marketing Geoffroy Sardin said on Thursday: "We are extremely confident that the additional time we afforded the dev team to refine and polish the game will be more than worth the wait."
