The second version of the Oculus Rift development kit is now available for pre-order.
The new kit offers greatly updated specs compared to the original version, including an improved resolution of 960x1080 per eye (compared to 640x800 per eye).
Also new to Development Kit 2 is a low-persistence OLED display, offering reduced motion blur and judder resulting in less motion sickness.
It will also come with a new USB camera accessory, which can be used to track a player's positional movement and help increase accuracy and immersion.
