Borderlands 2 Vita off-camera footage posted

Footage of the Vita version of Borderlands 2 has been captured from the GDC show floor.

The four-minute video, courtesy of Atomix, shows a player fighting enemies in the game's Southern Shelf Bay area.

The Vita version of Borderlands 2 is being developed by Iron Galaxy Studios, the development team which most recently released indie fighting game Divekick.

"Vita gives Borderlands 2 fans the ability to play the game anywhere they want, complete with of all the unique benefits of the Vita, and will truly bring the four-player cooperative experience to the palms of your hands," said Gearbox Software's Adam Fletcher when the port was announced in August 2013.

The new slim Vita model will launch in North America "this spring" with a $199 Borderlands 2 bundle.
