Wildlife in the game have their own food chain, so wolves will hunt deer, for example. The wildlife also needs time to repopulate, so if the player kills all of one species in an area it will take a long time for that area to be fully inhabited by that species again.
A new Dragon Age Inquisition trailer released earlier this month explores the renewed realms of Thedas. The trailer sweeps through rivers, valleys, swamps, cities, and ballrooms, showing the natural, man-made, and supernatural elements of Dragon Age's fantasy world.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is planned for release in fall 2014 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
