Video footage has emerged offering the first look at The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in action on last-gen systems.
The video, taken from the Xbox 360 version of the game, shows the web-swinging mechanics used for getting around the game's open-world city, including the ability to create a web catapult between two buildings.
It also shows some of the game's combat, highlighting a greater emphasis on dodging and countering attacks than seen in previous Spider-Man games.
Announced at New York Comic Con last October, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be developed by Beenox, the studio responsible for the last three Spider-Man games.
As with its 2012 predecessor The Amazing Spider-Man, the sequel will feature open world, third-person action gameplay. However, this time the game's Manhattan map has been "greatly expanded", giving players more freedom to explore.
It will be available on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS and PC. The pre-order bonuses for the UK version of the game have already been revealed, with players getting four unique in-game items if they pre-order from GAME.
