The International DotA 2 tickets go on sale April 3

Admission prices to July's tournament range from $99 to $499

Tickets for The International 2014, the premier tournament for Valve's DotA 2, will go on sale on April 3 at 12:00pm ET/3:00pm PT/10:00pm GMT through Ticketmaster.

This year's event will be held in Seattle's KeyArena between July 18 and 21 and will host 11 of the best competitive DotA teams, as well as four regional qualifiers.


Multiple ticket types are available to those interested in attending:

  • General Admission ($99)
  • Floor Seats ($199)
  • VIP package ($499) that includes:
    • Access to all 6 days of Playoffs (formerly Group Stage) taking place on July 8th, before the Championships Event
    • Floor Seating
    • Exclusive VIP Meet & Greets
    • Access to the After Party

All ticket tiers include access to all four days of the Championships Event.

Valve previously released a feature-length documentary on professional gaming on Steam. Titled 'Free to Play', the internally-produced documentary follows three professional Dota 2 players from different continents (Asia, North America, and Europe) as they compete to win $1 million in the first Dota 2 International Tournament.
