The ongoing issues surround joining other Xbox Live members in online games on both Xbox One and Xbox 360.

The most recent update on the matter states that earlier matchmaking problems with Grand Theft Auto V and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 have now been resolved.

A statement reads: "If you were having trouble matchmaking on either Grand Theft Auto V, or Call of Duty: Black Ops II due to the maintenance taking place, worry not, Xbox members! The work is complete, and matchmaking features are now functioning normally. Thanks for being patient during this time."

Xbox Live core services and the website are up and running as usual, as are purchase and content usage, plus TV, music and video services.

A similar Xbox Live service alert was issued last Tuesday, when purchasing features were also affected.
