Persona 4 rated for PS3

PS2 classic looks set to be re-released digitally

An Entertainment Software Ratings Board listing has suggested Atlus' Persona 4 may be released on PS3.

The game, which was first released on PS2 in 2008, was recently re-released with new content on Vita as Persona 4 Golden. The ratings board listing indicates the original version of the game will be re-issued digitally as a PS2 classic.

Atlus has announced that the PS3 Persona 5 release date will fall in 2015 in North America.

It has also confirmed that three Persona 3/4 spin-offs announced in November will launch in North America.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is a gameplay crossover with Atlus' Etrian Odyssey series. Its Etrian-styled take on Persona 3's SEES and Persona 4's Investigation Team will arrive on 3DS in autumn 2014.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax expands the Arc System Works fighter with a new one-hit special attack system, Yukari Takeba and Junpei Iori from Persona 3 among other characters, and a new storyline. It will release on PS3 and Xbox 360 this autumn.

Lastly, Persona 4: Dancing All Night for Vita pits the Investigation Team against a new Midnight Stage menace vulnerable only to the power of dance. The new title, made in collaboration with Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA studio Dingo Inc, will arrive in 2015.

In February, Sega announced its acquisition of Atlus parent company Index Corporation.
