Some games can live or die by their advertising campaigns.
A clever television commercial or internet trailer can get people talking about a game and ensure it's still jumping around in their mind when it's released. It's one of the main reasons the Wii saw immediate success, and it's the reason EA always spends oodles on elaborate ad-break-length ads for FIFA every time there's a Champions League final.
What we have here, then, are our favourite video game ads of all time. There are the ads that caught our eye when originally released and have stuck with us many months, years, even decades since we first saw them.
