Kirby Triple Deluxe trailer features 'deluxe powers'

Motion mechanics and stereoscopic features also demonstrated

Nintendo has released a new Kirby Triple Deluxe gameplay trailer head of the game's May release.

Kirby's iconic ability-cloning power is back in full force in the new game, as the new footage below demonstrates, along with new gameplay mechanics that make use of the 3DS tilt sensors.

The side-scrolling platformer uses the stereoscopic 3DS screen to let Kirby move from front to back in order to avoid enemies and solve puzzles.

Nintendo says: "Kirby can also use a new Hypernova ability, a temporarily powered-up version of his usual inhale ability. The game includes over 20 different types of copy abilities, four of which are created new for this game.

Nintendo has confirmed that Kirby Triple Deluxe will be released in US on May 2 and UK on May 16.
