Assassin's Creed Unity concept art allegedly leaks

Image in question taken from a video since pulled following Ubisoft copyright claim

What may or may not be a leaked piece of Assassin's Creed Unity artwork has been published online.

The image below (via NeoGAF) was taken from a YouTube video which has since been pulled following a copyright claim from Ubisoft.

There's no official confirmation that the screenshot comes from Unity. Ubisoft communication manager Alberto Ziello told DualShockers: "Of course I saw the picture published on the web. We don't comment on rumors or speculation on unofficial material. We'll share official gameplay pictures of Assassin's Creed Unity over the coming months."

Unity was officially announced in March shortly after the game's title and the first screenshots were leaked. It will be set, at least in-part, in 18th century Paris. The leaked images showed an unnamed protagonist walking through the city, while the debut Assassin's Creed Unity trailer concluded with a guillotine slamming down.

The game will be available later this year on PS4, Xbox One and PC. A separate series entry, reportedly titled Assassin's Creed Comet, is rumoured to be in development for Xbox 360 and PS3, also for release in 2014.
