EA Sports UFC will release June 17 for PS4 and Xbox One, according to a leaked image of a retail advertising display.
The display confirms the release date and also reveals a pre-order bonus which will grant access to a special Bruce Lee playable character, according to an image posted by AllGamesBeta.
The installment will be the first UFC game since Electronic Arts gained control over the series, which was previously handled by THQ.
According to EA CEO Andrew Wilson, the publisher may choose to release UFC games every two years.
"It feels like it's in that every-other-year mix, but in all honesty we haven't made that decision yet," he said.
"That really comes down to how long it's going to take to make a great game and when do we think the audience is ready."
In CVG's EA Sports UFC preview we noted the high graphical fidelity of the installment, writing that "in EA Sports UFC you will, we're told, be able to see the entire arena reflected in your fighter's retinas - if you can somehow get close enough."
