While the outsourced Xbox 360 edition of Titanfall was originally expected to launch alongside the Respawn-developed Xbox One and PC versions on March 11, it was initially delayed by two weeks in early February to allow Bluepoint Games "time to put the finishing touches on the game".
The Xbox 360 Titanfall release date was then delayed for a second time to this Tuesday, April 8 in North America and April 11 in Europe.
Bluepoint's Daryl Allison, senior producer on the Xbox 360 version of the game, said on Friday. "Titanfall on the Xbox 360 is the true experience: all the maps, modes, pilots, titans, weapons, burn cards, you name it, found in the Xbox One and PC versions.
"The game looks great, sounds great, and above all it plays great. There are of course some differences that are due to the technical limitations of the hardware - for example, the game runs above 30fps - but the experts at Respawn worked with us to ensure that all the intense, 6v6 wall-running, titan-dropping action is there."
