The first episode of Game of Thrones Season 4 will be available for free streaming on Xbox 360 and Xbox One starting Tuesday.
The official Twitter account of Entertainment for Xbox announced the offer on Monday. Variety reports that the episode will remain free until April 14, and it will also be available on-demand across multiple cable and satellite providers.
HBO Go, the premium channel's online streaming service for subscribers, suffered service outages from high demand when the premiere first aired on Sunday. Nielsen ratings estimate 6.6 million viewers tuned in to HBO to watch the program.
Telltale Games announced in December that it will release an episodic Game of Thrones series in 2014 as part of a "multi-year, multi-title" agreement with HBO.
"The show does a great job of interpreting George R.R. Martin's work, and his work provides a huge dictionary of knowledge about what the franchise is," Telltale CEO Dan Connors said in March. "It's really a dream to sit down and say, 'What's our space in this world? Where are we in this world?' And the world offers you so much to explore."
