Titanfall won't release on Games on Demand for Xbox 360, Electronic Arts revealed on Friday.
The publisher wrote on its support page that it had considered releasing the game on Xbox 360's digital download service but ultimately decided against it.
"After extensive testing, we felt that it simply did not represent the true Titanfall experience and it was decided not to release a Games on Demand version," the support page states.
Titanfall's Xbox 360 version released earlier this week to positive reviews. The Blue Point Studios developed port arrived roughly a month after Respawn Entertainment's PC and Xbox One version.
Bluepoint's Daryl Allison, senior producer on the game, said last week that Titanfall on Xbox 360 "is the true experience", featuring all of the maps, modes, pilots, titans, weapons and burn cards on offer in the other versions.
"The game looks great, sounds great, and above all it plays great," he said. "There are of course some differences that are due to the technical limitations of the hardware - for example, the game runs above 30fps - but the experts at Respawn worked with us to ensure that all the intense, 6v6 wall-running, titan-dropping action is there."
