The Behemoth teases new Xbox One project

"Game 4" from BattleBlock Theater studio

The Behemoth is working on a new game for Xbox One, the studio has confirmed.

Destructoid reports that the game will be playable this year, with more info to come at upcoming conventions. Until then, the only other information about the project comes from a shirt that The Behemoth is apparently distributing at PAX East.

The shirt depicts a spider-woman ridden by what appears to be a catapult-wielding humanoid creampuff. It says "Game 4?" in the corner, likely a reference to The Behemoth's previous projects: Alien Hominid, Castle Crashers, and BattleBlock Theater.

The Behemoth released the latter two on Xbox 360, though they eventually made their way to other platforms after significant periods of exclusivity. Battleblock Theater hit PC starting last month.

The Behemoth began as a collection of Flash game developers including Newgrounds creator Tom Fulp, but it has specialized in downloadable titles since Castle Crashers' release on Xbox Live Arcade in 2008.
